Formed in 2000, Cosmo's Moon is one of the most exciting and dynamic
bands on the scene today....
Combining melodic, yet hard-hitting music with thought-provoking
lyrics along with a high-energy live show, Cosmo's Moon has made a name for themselves on the Long Island and NYC club scene....
Founding member and lead guitarist Mark Valentino's music and lyrics are
based on his personal experiences which provide the listener a window to Mark's soul...." I know I wear my heart and emotions
on my sleeve when I write, but there's nothing wrong with bringing honesty and truth and mixing them with a few notes
and words...It's that honesty and truth that is missing from alot of todays music"....
Capable of nailing shredding, fleet fingered leads along with
slow, emotional, melodic solos, his virtuoso guitar skills are reminiscent of Neal Schon (Journey), Al DiMeola, Joe Satriani
and John Petrucci (Dream Theater)....
Vince G. on bass and Lucille Weidner on drums form the backbone
of this rock-solid musical force....This rhythm section combination provides the foundation that drives Cosmo's Moon....
Vocalist/rhythm guitarist Matt Dower is the voice behind Cosmo's
Moon....Matt's soulful, emotive voice and awesome guitar playing bring a powerful element that was missing from
the band's winning formula....We have also recently added Trisha Storch as a background vocalist. Trish has an amazing voice
and is a welcome addition to the CM lineup!....
Cosmo's Moon is a band that must be experienced live to be fully
